The organizing committee of the African Super League competition announced that the match between Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco and Enyimba of Nigeria was postponed due to the inability of the Enyimba team to travel to the city of Casablanca.

Enyimba protested against the confusion. His travel schedule to Morocco, after his officials faced problems in obtaining official approval from the Moroccan authorities to head to the economic capital.

According to BeIN Sports sources, the match was postponed. The aforementioned between Wydad and Enyimba, due to the latter not obtaining a permit to land at Mohammed V Airport from the Moroccan authorities.

Enyimba confirmed in an official statement that the Moroccan authorities refused to land the team’s plane. After the club’s management failed to obtain a landing permit for the plane coming from Mortal Lagos International Airport in Nigeria to Morocco.
